"Sharumashvili's musical approach has no room for hollow virtuosity or any other kind of pretentious display. Instead, she focuses on the individual characteristics of each piece and she allows them to blossom beautifully under her hands. The program thus composed and performed offers a beautiful alternation of intimacy and turbulence, assertiveness and grace, her playing characterized allure and care for nuance."

Bijna symfonisch. Spannend dus. De Georgische leeft zich hier

compleet uit. Met een als champagne borrelend

eindresultaat. Belangrijk ingrediënt is haar spanningsopbouw.

Niet zelden vormen deze stukken  behoorlijke krachttoeren. De pianiste staat echter boven de materie. Met grote verbeeldingskracht en muzikaal gevoel.

"She is not only an excellent pianist and a wonderful musician but she also tries and succeeds to understand the deeper meaning of the works she performs..."
